Since the open source Classic 99 emulator [

comes with the roms (as licensed from Texas Instruments), is there any
legal reason I couldn't just simply download the Classic 99 emulator,
and use the roms for another emulator like MESS?

(I ask because I am on a Mac and would like to use a Mac emulator.)

Although I do see where the developer mentions that the ROMs are built
in to the emulator, I didn't see where they were in the source code I
downloaded. Maybe you cannot simply acquire the ROMs that way.
