Were we manipulated and lied to about the moon landing?

It is hard to tell someone that they are being manipulated and lied to.
For example, the moon landing in my mind never happened. Americans
never set foot on the moon and there are so many things wrong with the
entire thing, and not much actual proof that they actualy went up
there, only the video and a few statements by the government.

I am very curious what you guys here think about the moon landing? Did
it happen of was it a hoax?
