Just having cleaned out my closet, I've com across a Tandy Deluxe Joystick
for the 1000. It has a round 6 pin DIN male plug. Is a pinout available,
or better yet, a mod to make it connectible to the 15 pin female D-shell
that's standard on PC Clones? In short, I would like to use this
joystick on my 386 but don't have documentation for the Joystick or the
IBM joystick jack. Please email if possible. Thank you.

Speaking of Tandy joysticks .... do the 1000sx joystick ports
support a 2 button joystick ?? I've run across software like
PC Paintbrush and various games that need 2 buttons on the joystick
(someday I'll get a mouse :^). I guess the bottom line is ...
what is the pinout on the 1000sx joystick ports ??

Thanks,
Bob

My Tandy 1000 Joystick has two buttons and they are (were) supported in
a variety of games.

The Tandy 1000 series computers will take a 2-button mouse, of the same
type as the Color Computers. Radio Shack sells them (or did last year)
with the 6-pin round connector. Perhaps someone else knows the
pin-outs, but that's as far as I know.

Speaking of pin-outs, does anyone know the pin-outs for a 9-pin serial
Microsoft Mouse?

As I recall, the IBM port uses 200K pots, while Tandy
has always used 100K (since the CoCo first appeared.)
The pinout is shown in any 1000 or CoCo tech ref.
I think the regular CoCo manual also shows it.
