Deskmate .PNT viewer/converter

Hello,

I just discovered a disk containing tons of my old computer art
drawings from when I was a kid. Unfortunately I can't find any
program that will view them or convert them. Can someone tell me what
program will view and/or convert Deskmate .PNT paint files? Thanks!

Deskmate is a 1.2MB file. The entire operating system. It ran on a 286,
and will run on any modern PC. You should be able to open it up on the
Windows desktop. I just tried it myself and it worked. You probably can
do the same thing I did & put your disk into your current computer, then
read it from the Deskmate window.

Thanks for the info about deskmate! Once you are running deskmate,
how do you convert the image? I do not believe there is a "save as"
.gif in the deskmate "Paint" program. Also, I do not think there is
screen capture ability.
