I've recently acquired a 1000SL and a 1000TL/3. They're fine machines with interesting features - but the one common problem I'm dealing with is the lack of reasonably priced mass storage for them. I've been following the XT-CFv3 project (http://www.lo-tech.co.uk/tag/xt-ide/) but until it's ready, I'm looking for alternatives. Does anyone have any turn-key suggestions?

I'm also looking for the Tandy-specific version of the packaging and documentation for the Diamond Trackstar board. As far as I can tell, Tandy sold the original 128 and 'E' boards in their catalog - I believe the part number is 25-1028 for the original card, not sure if it had a new number for the 'E' card.

Any advice is appreciated.

Are those the "compact" ones that had no expansion bus?

Otherwise, find an ISA bus IDE controller card (just an interface) and dig
out an IDE drive. Or, CompactFlash cards have an IDE mode, you just have
to map the connections.
