Hi. I've finally gotten the machine to boot into model iii BASIC but
still whenever I put any system disk into drive 0 it reads simply
"DISK ERROR." It spins fine and sounds like it's reading but never
gets there. Also I've got a dot matrix printer. How do I make it work?
It gets power and a green light comes on but I plugged it in to the
bottom of the computer and when I use "LPRINT xxxx" nothing happens,
it just kind of freezes for a minute. Any ideas?

You may have the wrong printer or cable. IBM screwed the system up and
made it incompatible.
