I remember my first computer being a Tandy 486 SX 25. I was given the
choice of a gun or a desktop PC. Thank god i chose the PC. I loved that
computer.

The 4825sx is/was a great computer. I still have mine. I maxed it out with
a whopping 32megs of ram, sound card, modem, cd-rom drive, and then i
upgraded the processor to one that was faster. After upgrading the video
card, I used it for another year and then got a new computer. I still have
it. It still great. My belief is that at one time, RadioShack had the best
computers on the market. They knew how to make them, too bad they diddn't
know how to sell them...

No, I did not get them, but I do remember them. I thought that they were
too expensive and not worth the money. I'm glad I refrained...

Those Tandy combo speaker units turn up all the time in thrift stores and
flea markets for a few bucks. Seems like they made a boatload more of those
than they actually did computers...

They sounded good for back in the day. It was the thing if you had a
Tandy to get speakers or a power center under your monitor. Watch out,
I knew rebels who had both. "As I breathe on my nails and buff them on
my shirt"
