Hey Folks-- just ran across a Meteor Mission II conversion on the
iPhone... thought that it was pretty interesting...

Took some work but apparently it's a free download.

The latest version, v1.3, was released July 2009 so that's pretty
recent.

Interesting that the author has named it "Meteor Mission". I'm wondering if
they have a TRS-80 background?!?

The arcade original was of course "Lunar Rescue", released on Midway's
8080-based (black & white) hardware - same hardware as Space Invaders I/II
and a bunch of other - rather forgettable - games of the same era.
