some people wrote to me to ask if I made some progress on this
argument because they had my same problem.
Looking in the source code, I found it uses getaddrinfo() function to
resolve the IP address string in a C structure.
This function is supported by TCPIPv6 stack only.
I'm waiting to upgrade the NSK from G06.17 to G06.23 (for DLL) and
install/configure TCPIPv6 on our development/test system and try
openssh again.
If you can't use TCPIPv6 you should do wrappers for missing functions.
I think it should be useful if ITUGLIB/HP put the software version of
downloadable GNU software and maybe also the minimum OS version
requirements.
Also I hope HP will port signal driven I/O to OSS in order to easily
port ntp software.

If the package was ported using Floss there should be a README_FLOSS file
located in "/usr/local/Floss/<package>". In the case of openssh the
contents of README_FLOSS include the line:
This package was built for NSK G06.20 or later.
For the revision of the package consult the directory name of the package.
In the case of openssh, the revision is 3.7.1p2.
Hope this helps,
Tom

I read "/usr/local/Floss/openssh-3.7.1p2/README_FLOSS and was useful
for configuration details but, "This package was built for NSK G06.20
or later." line is not included.
I think it's included in other packages or later versions.
I think it should be nice to have release versions shown in ITUGLIB
webpage, before downloading software. I already saw the openssh
release version doing tar extraction on target system.
Thank you
