Hi Everyone;

I'm busy trying to set up our ip CLIM's with multiple providers; and CLIM to CLIM failover. I'm finding it hard to get any manualls explaining firstly how to setup multiple providers; how the routes work. ie: Is there a route on the CLIM ip and provider ip's; do you require specific routes for all incomming connections and so on.

If anyone has any info and/or examples of how to setup multiple providers per CLIM and then how to setup CLIM to CLIM failover it would be much appreciated.

Any advice on the proposed setup would also be appreciated.

Thanks
Philip

Hi Philip,

Can you give me a concise question so that I can research your issue?

I'm thinking of somethings like "How do I set up CLIMs for multiple providers, and how do I set up CLIM to CLIM failover?" Would that be correct?

I think this is the best manual to find your answer:

HP NonStop Cluster I/O Protocols (CIP) Configuration and Management Manual

It is in the J-Series section of the NonStop Technical Library (NTL)...
