Why HTTP CONNECT will disconnect after 15 mins in iPlanet Proxy server ???

Hi all,
I am estalishing a persistent conneciton using HTTP CONNECT through
iPLanet proxy server. The proxy server is disconnecting my request
after
15 Mins(around). Even thoght there is bi-directional data transfer to
avoid
proxy time out.

The error from the Proxy Server says """failure: request timed out;
