HELP: shoebox w/ emulex md21 esdi to scsi board

hi,
i recently purchased fujitsu 778M esdi hd to put in shoebox w/ emulex
md21/s2 board and having a hard time to make it work.
i recently purchased fujitsu 778M esdi hd to put in shoebox w/ emulex
md21/s2 board and having a hard time to make it work.
i'm trying to use w/ DECstations.
before bootup the machine, it recognizes the emulex board, but during
bootup procedure, it throws "CAM-log error, too large to log" something
sort of error message, then never realize the existence of the emulex board
or esdi hd.
any comments?

p.s. i also realized there're two ICs for terminator on the emulex board.
is that mean, i don't need terminator for shoebox?
