i know, a lot of people have asked this before..........
but:
has anyone tried to connect a GDM-1962B or a GDM-20D10
to PCs with standard S3 videoboards? i know, there are
certain adapters for that, but i have heard that if you
are unlucky, you will not be able to see dos mode or
anything at all.....
thanks-a-lot for any idea!
grtx, martin.

I run two GDM-20D10s on a win98 box with two el-cheapo S3 video cards. I'm
from Australia but had to go to a place in New Jersey, USA to get a few 13W3
to VGA adaptors that do sync combining as well (critical). They are at
www.ultraspec.com and you want to look for Part Number #1396. You won't see
the DOS prompts and scripting (DOS in window is OK) but an old BW 10 or 12
monitor is good for that when needed.
It runs at 630x480(@120Hz min) up to 1600 X 1200 @ 85 Hz. I have recently
switched to el-cheapo Creative exxtrenme cards to get above 1280 X 1024, not
that this is really required.
Have fun. Regards,
