Version 1.3 of the CU version of sudo has been released. Sudo is a
program that allows a system administrator to give limited root
access to users and logs copiously. Version 1.3 is based on The Root
Group's sudo 1.1 and is covered under the GNU Copyleft.

The differences between 1.2 and 1.3 consist mostly of bug fixes,
portability changes, and security enhancements. See the CHANGES file
for all the gory details.

If you are running an older version of sudo I would highly suggest that
you pick up the latest version.

CU sudo 1.3 supports the following architectures:
SunOS 4.x
SunOS 5.x (with or without gcc)
hpux 8.x or 9.x
4.3 BSD
NextStep 3.x
Utah HPBSD 2
BSDI BSD/386
Ultrix 4.x
AIX 3.x
Irix 4.x
DEC OSF/1
KSR OS
Convex OS 9.1 with gcc
Linux (with or without shadow passwords)

CU sudo 1.3 is available via anonymous ftp from ftp.cs.cololorado.edu
as pub/sysadmin/utilities/cu-sudo.v1.3.tar.Z
