I had a nice little program on my Sun OS that somehow got lost in the
upgrade to Solaris 2.5. Does anyone know if something similar to
Enscript exists in Solaris 2.5? Essentially it was a program to format
printed output somewhat, allowing for example, portrait courier 10
in two column mode, and landscape in 8 point so as to be able to get
130 characters across. It also allowed other fonts.

Hmm, I have an uninstalled copy of Transcript, I don't supposed it is
embeded in there somewhere?

To print 132 columns, stuff like this could be used, supplied in
standard SunOS 5 :-

/usr/lib/lp/postscript/postprint -fCourier -s8 -pland -l60 <file | lp

and use the following arguments for your first questions :-

-fCourier -s10 -n2

Enjoy

Try nenscript, available from various sites, I got my copy off the the
UK HP Proting Centre (http://hpux.csc.liv.ac.uk) and it compiles OK for
Solaris.
