I think it's clearly "not supported". Work? Maybe! Not supported
generally means that nobody has done the testing that would prove that
it works. The fastest way to find out may be to try it! It may work for
the first thirty minutes and die! Just remember that no one, least of
all Sun Microsystems, has promised that it will work in any and all
conditions that an Ultra 25 is rated for. It might, for example,
generate more heat than the fan in an Ultra 25 can handle. It might
require more DC power than the power supply in an Ultra 25 can safely
supply. Etc, etc. . . .
Can you afford to have the Ultra 25 down while the power supply is being
replaced?? Will installing the ATM card void the warranty on the Ultra 25?
It MAY work just fine! It may not! If you still want to proceed, I
