Have you found a source for the fans? Some of mine are somewhat
noisy, and they are of a size I can't find in any local (Germany,
Frankfurt/Wiesbaden/Mainz) electronics store.

Some early Apple external hard drives used the same power supplies and (I
think) fans. They will be getting pretty old and noisy now, too.

The cases are somewhat hard to find in Germany, and freight from the
U.S. is ridicuously expensive. Last time I bought some, I paid $100
for five cases plus $200 UPS :-(.
The situation has become easier for me since I found two working 911
boxes via ebay.de, thus freeing some 411 ones.
