Hi there,

I did that,

#ypinit -m

then the message was

The local host's domain name hasn't been set. Please set it.

what does the 'Host's domain name' mean? what and in where should I do?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hyosil.

I think it's enough to configure the file

/etc/defaultdomain

It's only a text file with the name of your domain.

Greetings,

Daniel

On a running system, you need to do "domainname `cat /etc/defaultdomain`",
this would have been done automatically at boot time had the file existed.
