Sun/Sony GDM-20E20 Monitor Operations

Does anyone have an operations manual for the 20" GDM-20E20 monitor? I
have received a used monitor that will only display at SVGA resolution.
I have attempted to change resolutions without success. The OSD does
show a key symbol in the lower left corner so I presume the system has
been "locked" to that resolution.

How can I change it?

No help from Sun or Sony :-(

I think they adjust automatically. Maybe you're trying to make it do a
resolution/refresh combination outside its capability.

Press the leftmost button (the one with the briefcase-like
icon). You'll see a window with a number of icons, one of
them being a key, which should be selected (white). Use
the left-arrow key to select the icon with the dot outside
the circle. Press the briefcase key. Your OSD is now unlocked.
Note that the OSD will not allow you to select the supported
resolutions. The maximum the GDM 20E20 will do is 1280x1024x76.
