Apologies if you end up with two posts. I sent a much longer one via Google Groups which didn't show up for me, though a later test message came through. The site for this years reviews will be here https://csscgc24.blogspot.com/ entries can be emailed to edward.toovey@[IGNORETHISBIT]talktalk.net

I haven't used usenet since the 90's and see Google is pulling the plug Feb 2024, if there are any usenet Guru's who can point me to a modern way of accessing let me know.

Tee hee, it worked. Welcome!

I personally use https://www.eternal-september.org for Usenet access,
and thunderbird as my reader.

No idea what happened to the first message, I just signed up with eternal-
september so glad to hear it is what you use. I'll try thunderbird and see
how I get on.

The new way is the old way, using a usenet news reader built into an
email client (Thunderbird?) or some dedicated client.

www.eternal-september.org can provide you with a free account to access
usenet groups.

Welcome back to the 90's, where technology was more friendly.

Brilliant stuff, it worked. Well done!

I'll change https://csscgc.org to point to the new compo on January 1st.

FWIW I use Eternal September too...seems to be the best way of getting
my Usenet fix nowadays.
