Hi all,

The next entry to the CGC will be number 50, and we all know what a special number *that* is. So an appropriate prize is on offer, please have a butcher's at the blog:

and get your entries in!

Do any of the really awful games we used to put up under the Naffsoft banner
on Micronet still exist anywhere?
Most were written in basic and the best were impossible to play, were
usually very simple, naff graphics and probably quite small, or
alternatively huge and slow for that they actually did.

Those were fun times when the world could be silly and nobody minded.

Change of plan:

THE SPIRIT 50 AWARD

I've decided it's unfair to give people a few hours notice and the next one gets a prize. So instead this is now the Spirit 50 award, a prize for the 'best' game in the first 50 entries. There is no voting system, but I would like people to nominate their favourite game either on the blog, on the WOS or CSS forum. In a couple of weeks I will gauge this internet noise, factor in my own bias + the 'it just doesn't sit right factor' and name the prize winner. The 50 games are now in, with 3 still to be reviewed, so getting playing and decide the winner!
