I see (read: accidentally stumbled upon the fact that) Urban
Dictionary has definitions for "speccy" (with a lowercase "s" for some
reason), "spec-chum" and even "chuntey".

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=zx%20spectrum

I'm not sure about the definition for Commodore 64, which contains the
following line:
| In Europe, and especially England, it competed against the Sinclair
| ZX Spectrum (which was a joke of a computer that somehow managed to
| be a success)

I'm not even sure that "Commodore 64" warrants an entry in the urban
dictionary, which I thought existed purely for street slang an' what
the kids are saying an' that, yeah?

Yes it should say Commode instead as I can recall a picture in a Speccy mag
with a Commodore Pet on a toilet basin.

I added "Speccy" to Wiktionary a while ago, too.

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Speccy

The audio pronunciation is me!

I recently pointed this out to some people in my office. You have no idea
how delighted I am over having played a minor role in the development of the
word chuntey. My parents must be so proud.

Now we only have to get llama-waxing in there and you'll have coined
almost[1] as many words as Shakespeare.

[1] Definitions of "almost" may vary.

Someone should provide a new entry:

"jowett, adj. One who is both a spammer and an idiot. Usually kill-file fodder."
