Hello Spec-chums, I one of the few people in Australia that has one and
uses it still. I've had for 11 years now, and I has taught me so much.

I wanna know abou the room called Entrance to Hades, on Jet Set Willy.
If you get past the Forgotten Abbey and drop straight down, there's a
room there but there seems no way to get into it without dying!!!!!
Thanks
Ivan

That's why it's called the entrance to Hades.
Hades being the realm of the dead.
There's nothing in that room though, so don't worry.
(You can get there by using the writetyper cheat, but you can't move around
much).....

Just what you would expect from the Entrance to Hades :)

Seriously, though, it's just a death trap. A similar thing happens if
you stand at the top of "Dr. Jones will never believe this" and jump
(i.e. entering the room above). Endless death, even unlimited lives
cannot save you.

Cheers,
Christoph (who thought "DIE MORTAL" was Latin at first)

I bet "avoid infinite death" can save you though. :-)

Simple. Don't enter it - it's a trap.

Yep! You're 100% right here! So don't enter that room!

Where does the time go?

It's been 21 years since my first post. And even though I know that, it
still feels weird to see it in black and white. There are adults
walking around who weren't even born yet when I first came across CSS.

(Mind you, I still find it bizarre that my childhood friends have
kids at all, let alone ones who are practically grown-up themselves.
Also, Elon Musk was born on the same day as me*, and he owns space
rockets. Way to make a guy feel inadequate, Elon. Thanks, man.)

*Yes, really.

What is time really. It goes faster as you age.

I find that time doesn't go faster, in fact when I'm sober, time seems to slow down.

Regards,

Shaun.

Here I am posting again 5 years later. The older you get each year is a smaller percentage of your life hence it goes faster. I see this as a board I can talk to myself across time :D Greetings to all spec chums and everyone else too. One of these days though I will sit down and complete Jet Set Willy....
