Do I Still Need to Make Lucy Promiscuous?

We have 4 Indigos (XS-24's) in my lab - Lucy, Ricky, Ethel and Fred.
Because of very SLOW ethernet performance under 4.0.2, it was necessary to
force their ethernet chips into 'promiscuous' mode. Now that we
upgraded to 4.0.5, do we still have to force Lucy et al. to be
promiscuous? The release notes say nothing of either the ethernet
bug nor of it's fix that I could see. Thanks!

Lucy can be celibate now. However what performance you gain in networking
will be lost in other more prosaic areas (which are not fit to be discussed
in this newsgroup).
