Can anyone tell me if the O2 series supports IrisGL?

I know that the Impact series performs very poorly when using
depth cueing under IrisGL. Can anyone tell me of any similar
performance problems or bugs that exist when using IrisGL on
the O2 series.

Thanks,

Herc

Yes, it does.

The "layer" implementing IRIS GL on OpenGL (IGLOO) is virtually
identical between the Impact, O2, and InfiniteReality. The problem
with depth cueing is that part of it must be done in software (I
don't remember the details) so the same issue will exist for all
three (and future) platforms.

And my mama cried, "Nanook a no no! Don't be a naughty eskimo! Save your
money, don't go to the show!" Well I turned around and I said, "Ho! Ho!"

I did some tests using two programs. IRIS GL generally worked,
although in color map mode depth cueing and antialiased lines
(via color ramps in the color map) did not work. In rgb mode
everything appeared to work, including depth cueing.
