Hello,
Running Irix 6.5.16 downloaded maintenance release from Supportfolio,
3 tar files IRIX6.5.22_1of3.tar.gz, IRIX6.5.22_2of3.tar.gz, and
IRIX6.5.22_3of3.tar.gz Installing with miniroot (inst>)from local host
as source. Produced conflicts galore, well over 300 eventually too many
to resolve, dmedia, eoe.sw.base etc.

as source. Produced conflicts galore, well over 300 eventually too many
to resolve, dmedia, eoe.sw.base etc.
Was there supposed to be an overlay CD to be used with this distro?

You have to install Patch5086 first. With the .21 release both streams
are merged and your old insg/swmgr doesnt know that.
