I've just upgraded from an S3a to an S5. I had a leather case for my 3a,
which I think was Widget Software's 'Junior' zipped leather case (2-3 years
old?).
Although my S5 will just about go into the case, it's a pretty tight fit,
and I'm afraid that if the S5 has any tendency to peeling outer surfaces
then the passing of the zipper tightly around its corners won't help
matters. It's also not possible to use the S5 in the leather case, because
when I close it the retracting keyboard catches the zip.
I had a look at Widget's site and they do a leather case which looks
identical to mine, and says it is for S3s and S5.
So I have 2 questions...
1. Does anyone know if Widget's zipped leather cases have been increased
slightly in size to accommmodate the S5? (If not then there's no point in
me buying one).
2. Has anyone got any general recommendations on good protective cases for
an S5?
Many thanks,
Paul

YES, without hesitation contact Palmtec and order one of their new MBC cases.
You can contact sales at sa...@palmtec.com or tel. 01926 470615.
If you need to you can use velcro like you did with your old case,
only the other harder surface, to keep the P5 sitting nicely in the
case. This case isn't quite so swish as your other but it is very
smart, appears to give very good protection, it's cheap and it has
been a very nice firm to have dealt with.
