Hi

I'm considering buying a P5, as it looks to be the best palmtop on the
market. I do need it to be able to synchronise with my PC to pick up
email remotely for it to be really useful. It's the kind of thing
Windows CE allows you to do, but I don't really want a CE machine.

I've checked the Psion web sites and can't find any description of how
I can achieve this from a P5. Has anyone out there done this?

Not tried this personally, but it has been done - I get my mail through
MS Outlook, which gets it from our corporate mail server - there is an
option
in Outlook to leave the mail on the server as well as downloading it to the
PC and deleting it from the server (which normally happens)

I will be setting up the Message Suite to dial in to the mail server, and
should see
the same messages as when I use my PC - and be able to copy or move them.
To dial I will be set up with another account on the server, pointing to
the same mailbox as my 'normal' account.

The Message Suite software looks excellent - except it can't handle
attachments.

Have a look at www.psion.co.uk for a copy

New Series 5 arrives on wednesday, when I've sorted out the modem cable
I'll be trying this, you are welcome to mail me at the end of that week :)

Cheers
