Greetings,

I have searched the big archives, and deja news with no luck.

Is there a program like Morse Code Tutor for the psion series 5? Not just a
data base, but a program that will send code for practice.

Thanks in advance.

Kenneth,

I am not aware of one, but would be very interested to hear if you come
across a tutor for series 3 / 5 or any other palmtop/handheld for that
matter.

I wrote a program to do this on an old Amstrad CPC464 a few years back. It
would test the user with individual characters and sentences at varying
speeds. Even had a proper tapper connected to the joystick port. Anyway, I
might consider knocking one up if there's enough interest. That's if
there's not one already out there. Don't think there is.

Would be great, if you could write one.

Look at www.pocketinfo.org in the reference section and then the language
and communication section there is a file there for the S5 called Morse.
Haven't downloaded it myself so I can't vouch for it.

Actually, I've just noticed that it is only a spreadsheet, so ignore my
previous post.

Sorry

Mark
