When I try to synchronise SMS messages created on my revo with those on the
phone, the ones from the phone are downloaded, but the ones from the Revo
(email outbox) are not uploaded.
Also, when I try to SEND the SMS messages using the phone (not through an
email account). I get a 'ERROR SENDING SMS. Could not send SMS messages.
General (uspecified) error'.
I know that the phone is talking to the Revo OK, because I have managed the
phone book on the SIM (upload and download), but this other stuff is driving
me slowly mad!!! Any suggestions, patches, fixes etc?
Thanks in advance
Geoff
Look at Tools > Account Settings > SMS > Advanced > Edit.
I only got it to work when the service centre number was in the form
44973100973 - no leading + sign.

Soft reset - page 202 of the manual. Stick a paperclip in hole 1, visible
underneath the Revo when it's open.
My 7110 Modem settings are:
Modem:
Speed 115200 baud
Connect Infrared
Fax Auto
Options:
Loudspeaker Never
Volume Medium
Pause 4
Initialisation:
Init string AT&F&K4
Data <blank>
Fax <blank>
Advanced:
Flow Software
Terminal <blank>
Carrier <blank>
Type Mobile
I'm afraid this is all that is supported, pg 89 of the Revo manual details
the Synch. procedure, and (unfortunately) the SMS mails only go from any
phone (not just specific to the 7110) to the Revo.

This indicates that the number of the SMS Center hasn't been entered
correctly. Please enter it in the format:
[Country Code][Town][Number]
There should be no leading '00' or '+' for international dial-out, nor
a '0' leading the town code.

As the Nokia 7110 is the first WAP phone on the market i think the
question is a bit premature.
