Check the newsgroup archives. Sometimes you get a CF that won't read in a
particular Psion, but may be read in others.
Change the CF to a different make. (btw what make is it?)

Also note that the Psion uses 3V cards, so get either 3V or dual voltage
cards. I don't know if there are any 5V only cards still made, but better to
be safe.

Is the card a Kodak by any chance? I had this and had to get my mate to
format it in his Kodak digital camera, then it worked.

No, its a TwinMos card that worked perfectly when I put it in originally, I
decided tof ormat it to get rid of junk files, then wouldn't get past 21%
(timeout error) so i bought a CF reader/writer and formatted it on my pc
(winxp) now the psion doesn't recognise a card is in the slot at all!
regards,
Tim

Has Win XP formatted the CF card so that it is no longer compatible
with the Psion - NTFS instead of FAT16 or whatever?

I don't pretend to know anything about this other than having read
something about the different file format in a Win XP book :-)

Know anyone else with a Psion to try and format it in there?
Or maybe a digital camera, etc.
