I'd be happy to have them, either by working out a deal, or buying
them off ebay if I have to. One way or the other, don't bin them.
Any chance you have tapes around?

Bill,
Why not check with the Computer History Museum?
I have donated a bunch of my Prime stuff to them.
I'd bet that there would be interest especially in
any Version 24 OS stuff or things like Oracle or
the Business Language (I don't remember its
name at the moment). Stuff about EPFs or
other special software or the Ring Network,
etc. would also be useful.
Ditto all the special systems that Prime rebranded
and sold or the Unix systems they built and vended.
Best Regards,
Ed Feustel
Someone asked about tapes, sorry, I passed all of them on to someone
who actually could use them back when I got rid of my last Prime
System. And no hardware, just docs left over from when I maintained
the OSes on a bunch of 850's at West Point almost 30 years ago.

"RiscOS" on the MIPS hardware? I had to check out our CADCAM packages
on them (we were owned by Prime), but they were not a patch on the
contemporary Sun systems for usability, performance or documentation :-)
I only have Sun manuals from that era, sorry.
Mike
OK, sorry it took so long but here is a first run. I am sure I have
more but I may not even find them until after I move (again) and get
to unpack all my boxes of books.

Nothing there but picture. I assume people here will recognize them.

Postage will likely start around $5 (USPS flat rate envelope) and,
obviously, bundling will keep the cost down. Any offers?
I'd be interested in the Rev 19 Internals manual, if not already gone.
Fundsalo but let me know what you'd need for it.

All of it is gone.

...to me. I'll scan it shortly and let you know. BTW I scanned my
19.4 internals class book, and it's available at:
http://yagi.h-net.msu.edu/prime_manuals/ce0810.pdf
if it's of interest.

As long as you are scanning them, you might consider getting in touch
with Al Kossow about putting copies on bitsavers.
If I have time next weekend I will try to go thru the boxes I packed
in the attic and see if I can find the rest of the manuals I saved.
Yup, I always let him know when I scan stuff and put it online. A
few of the Prime things on bitsavers are my scans.

If you happen to find the ones I misplaced years ago, let me know? :)

Me interesa conocer los éxitos Españoles de Prime. Existen documentos
de Prime en Español? ...
De
These old typewritter manuals are great.
They'll be no trace of the obscured junk hidden inside the new
support.oracle.com site in 25 years.

I've scanned a copy of the PRIMOS Internals 19.1 class textbook, in
the usual 400dpi G4 format. It's available as a PDF file, or as a
ZIP file containing the loose TIFF images and the control files I used
to assemble it:

When you first said CADCAM and "owned by Prime" MEDUSA came immediately
to mind.
It's not one I got from Bill, and I'm following up to my own posting,
but as long as we have a recent doc topic...
I've scanned a copy of the Prime RPG II Programmer's Guide, PDR3031 of
1979, in the usual 400dpi G4 format. It's available as a PDF file,
or as a ZIP file containing the loose TIFF images and the control
files I used to assemble it:
