MS-Kermit 3.12 supports a PT200 emulation. It is implemented as
a variation of a VT320 (both ANSI terminals). I have not tested it
at all, but the docs say it's supposed to be fairly compatible. It
is available by anonymous FTP from watsun.cc.columbia.edu.
PrimeLink (from Prime, written by somebody else for them?) also
has a PT200 mode, if I remember correctly. Contact Prime for a copy
of it.

In no particular order...
1. TurboTerm (TTermII) from Turbosoft Pty. Ltd. in Sydney Australia,

- Full PT250 emulation.
2. TinyTerm from Century Software, 5284 South 320 West, Suite C134,
Salt Lake City, Utah 84107. Fax: +1 801 268 2772
- Limited PT250 support was incorporated under contract from
Prime for NVT emulation via NetWare for Unix.
3. Softerm PC from Softronics, 5085 List Drive, Colorado Springs,
Colorado 80919. Fax: +1 719 548 1878
- Product claims "PST-100" support only, which provides
sufficient capabilities to run some (if not most) PT250
applications.
4. Primelink, from Computervision. This is the "Prime Standard"
terminal emulator which was based on the original Pacerlink
product from Pacer Software. It is the best choice for
50-series integration (supports remote spooling, virtual disks,
etc). Primelink provides total PT250 emulation.
All have network configuration options (TCP/IP, Novell, etc) in addition
to the traditional COM ports. Primelink has the most complete PT250
emulation, and is the best choice if 50-series PC integration and
accuracy of emulation are the primary factors involved in the purchase.
If file transfer speed is critical, and many heterogeneous hosts are
involved, you should consider other options. Of the three 3rd party
packages mentioned, I believe that TurboTerm has the most complete and
accurate PT2xx emulation, and it supports ZModem. I don't mean this to
be a product endorsement; you need to evaluate all the desired features
yourself, based on the level of emulation required, combined with network
compatibility and support, file transfer protocols, ease of use, memory
consumption, compatibility with Windows, interference with other TSRs,
and price.

A friend of mine had a copy of PacerLink from Pacer Software, Inc. on
his MacIntosh. It was *remarkably* similar to the versions of Primelink
that we had for our PC's at the place I worked. My guess is that this is
the original source of Primelink. In my personal opinion, Primelink beats
Procomm hands down when it comes to terminal emulation. It had the largest
list of available emulations of any package that I have ever seen, and
supported more features than most of the other packages (I don't remember,
does Procomm support line-draw in its ADDS emulations? Pacer did! How
about other *advanced* features, e.g. color, etc?).
BTW: If anybody out there has an address for Pacer Software, I would really
like to have it. (So might some others.)

PrimeLink is a renamed version of PCLINK. The names PCLINK and Pacer are
all over the place if you look at the binary files. The directory that you
have to create on the Prime side is still called PCLINK*.
I don't know if the 'PC' in PCLINK stands for Pacer or for Personal Computer.
I agree that it has the best termie emulators I've ever seen. As far as I
know it is the only emulator that supports Televideo 950 emulation, on
which most of our Prime software configurations are based.

Some more help for those who wish to run PacerTerm on Macs and PCs. You can
buy it as a shrink wrapped package (at least on the Mac, I presume the PC
version has continued). I believe Pacer's home office is in La Jolla, CA.
But I don't know if it still does PT200 emulation.
