IP-Ethernet: TargetTCP Ethernet Driver

Features include:

An Ethernet driver for TargetTCPTM, Blunk Microsystems' TCP/IP protocol
stack. Supports 10BASE-2, 10BASE-5, and 10BASE-T media interfaces.
Shipped with two sample applications: a Sniffer-like packet decoder and a
network time client.
The sniffer application monitors the Ethernet line in promiscuous mode and
prints the decoded contents of all re-ceived packets to stdout. This
application does not use TargetTCP. It is useful for trouble-shooting the
IP-Ethernet installation and cabling, and for verifying the software
integration.
The network time client uses TargetTCP to query network time servers over
the IP-Ethernet interface. Using the TargetOSTM console interface, the user
is prompted for the IP address of a network host. The program reports either
the Network Time, inability to contact the specified host, or inability to
contact a timer server on the specified host. The network time client is an
excellent starting point for IP-Ethernet applications.
Contains example code that saves the IP-Ethernet's IP address and subnet
mask values in NVRAM and allows them to be modified via the TargetOS boot
menu. This code can be copied for user applications.
Tested on the VIPC860, VIPC360, and VIPC610 IndustryPack carriers from SBS
Modular I/O and the MVME162 IndustryPack carrier from Motorola.
Integrated with CodeWarriorTM, the development environment from Metrowerks
with an integrated source level debugger, compiler, assembler, linker,
editor, and GUI make tool.
Royalty free. Includes full ANSI C source code, user's manual, and one year
of technical support.

We develop, market and support deeply embedded development solutions for
embedded platforms. Specifically, we ship hardware and software tools for
Linux, Windows, and a large range of embedded microprocessors.

In 2001 Embedded Tools Network was founded, became an independently
operating distributor of high quality Deeply Embedded Tools.

Embedded Tools Network cross-platform hardware/software tools support
assembly, C, C++, GNU, Background Debug Mode (BDM) & JTAG. GNU is used by
more than million developers in 80 countries to create platforms and
applications for both desktop and embedded systems from a single, Public
Development Environment (PDE).
