Your "source" is not telling you anything that everybody doesn't
know already. (except for the 604 part, that would surprize me) IBM has
been saying that it will release the PPS's in the second half of this year.
Most people have interpretted that to mean fourth quarter.

I seem to have read something in this Sunday's New York Times, the
computer pullout, that indicates that PowerPS's and WorkplaceOS are going
to be on display at this month's PC Expo in New York. They also said the
PowerPS's are due this spring, spring '94. Am I dreaming? Are they going
to come out? ANyone from IBM? I really want one for my first year at
college...
