Yallo,
I bought a Stylistic 1000 recently, and after juryrigging a suitable
power brick, my next hurdle is to get the thing to boot. All I have to
work with is my WinXP laptop, which won't allow me to transfer system
files to the cflash card installed in the pcmcia slot (by means of the
adapter). Is there any way of getting DOS 6.22 onto this card w/this
configuration? I should think there would be a way (and no I don't
have the XP for tablet resource/development kit or whatever it's
called). But if not, what *configuration* would I need to get a card
bootable. Thanks.

One easy way is to find a friend with an old Windows 98se or earlier
computer, and have him format the card.

If your going to do anything much with this machine, you almost have to have
the floppy drive. While it's possible to get by without it, there's much
heartache and frustration involved.

If there's no friend, you need to Google around for a boot disk creator.

How big is the card? If it's over 2 gigs, you may have trouble.
