I've always suspected my TX boot time used to be faster. I bought a
new TX last week so compared the new boot time with the old:

Old TX (about twice as long)

Get a grip Toby. The more crap you have on the thing the longer it takes
to boot because it has to put everthing back where it was before the re-
boot. Same with your PC.

Do a hard-reset on both, see if that brings your speeds up to par.

Why the post in the first place?

I was curious to measure the boot speed on my new TX as compared with
my old one. I didn't have a stop-watch handy but did have a webcam
handy. Once I'd recorded both videos, my software makes it very easy to dump
them onto youtube, so I did, under the (apparently misguided)
impression that someone else might find them of some, you know, mild
interest.
