Palm Zire 72 dead battery

My battery on my Zire 72 has failed. I know that Pocket Solutions does
repairs on these. Has anyone had an experience with them? Or should I
just not bother with a device almost 6 years old. Stand Alone (non Phone
PDA's) are all but dead these days with the exception of the iPod Touch.

If you don't have a phone with satisfactory PDA features, you might as
well replace the battery if you can find a replacement. Phones with
such features are EXPENSIVE ($300-$500)!!
