Hi All,

Is it possible to filter NetWare message popups? I use Novell Client
4.83 SP2. My institution adds a string to the subject of all likely
SPAM emails, so that if the user wishes to do so, easy mail filtering
at the mail-client level is possible. The problem is, I am interupted
all day with NetWare pop-ups informing me about all this SPAM
arriving. My question is:

can I instruct the Novell Client in this way: "If the subject of the
pop-up message contains <string>, suppress the pop-up" ...or something
similar?

Thanks
Dave Higgins

No, but they can be turned off entirely
the question is, what email system are you running that uses them?
Are you sure it is the regular NetWare popups or is your email client
putting something up that looks very similar?
If your email happens to be feeding into the NetWare popups, then do
the filtering in the email system
