N8003 NeXT ADB two button mouse

How does one open up a NeXT ADB two button puck style mouse?

I can see and remove the two screws on either side of the mouse ball area
at the bottom of the case, but I can't (or rather don't want to for fear
of breaking something) seem to get this darn thing apart.

Is there a hidden screw or screws beneath the little serial number label
or beneath the front plastic "slider" thingy?

Any advice would be appreciated.
