I think I can beam them from the 130, but we cannot see how to do it from
the 110. I think maybe if the package had been left in the Inbox on the 110
it might work.
Any ideas?

Nope, doesn't work with NOS 1.x.
The only way to do it would be via a PC. Synchronize the MP110 with NCK.
There are/were a couple of programs available to extract packages from
the sync file on the PC. But I don't remember what they were called or
where to get them any more. I think others will be able to chip in here.
Also, to make it worthwhile you'd have to make sure that the package is
NOS 2.x compatible. Not all packages are, although more packages are
upward compatbile than downward (ie. most NOS 2.x packages won't work on
NOS 1.x devices).

I think there was a 1.x utility to select and beam a package,
but can't recall its name. ('package beamer'?)

there are several 1.x extract package utilities -- see

tough to tell sometimes unless the software has an About description;
I assume in this case since there's no .pkg file,
there's probablyi no desktop Readme or docs either...

You're right, I think there was. If I remember correctly, it only
allowed beaming from internal memory though. And I don't know (don't
think so though) whether it would work between a 1.x and 2.x Newton.
I knew there was a solution ... Wanna know what it is?
If you have a memory card, do a backup on the 110. Then insert the card in
the 130, hit restore and select the packages to be transferred. Be sure
that they are compatible with the new OS before you do that, though! Do
your homework!
