How do I come from a 'kchr' resource on my Mac to a keyboard that can be
selected in the locale prefs?

The NTK documentation doesn't describe much about it. Should I use the
GetResource function to set a keycodeMapping slot i a locale frame or what?
If yes, what class would that object be?

Kind regards,

The Newton is not a Mac, and an on-screen keyboard is not a hardware keyboard.
Thus there is no function to export a Mac keyboard layout to the Newton,
unless you program it yourself.

But it tells all that is necessary to produce your own keyboard layout.

If you plan to produce several keyboard layouts, a conversion program
might be interesting.
If you only need one keyboard layout (e.g. a Danish one), it is probably
easier to take an existing keyboard table from one of Apple's sample
programs and edit it appropiately.
