MSX was a failure. The Commodore 64 owned the 8 Bit
market and some fools did also buy Amstrad, ATARI or
Sinclair systems, but no one did buy MSX rubbish.
MSX should be buried. It was born dead and only got
deader over time!!!
LOL! :)
Then, why bother posting? :P

Sure, but if has a great logo, and a bunch of blurry sweet eighties(ish)
colours...

The first line is a lie, the second somewhat over the edge :-)

LOL. MSX graphics beat other 8-bit computers by far. Have you ever tried
"Buck Rogers" on MSX and C64?
BTW Amstrad CPC was nothing but a European Apple ][ clone. I found it
horrible.
Beside that, MSX was extremely popular in Japan, the Netherlands, the
former USSR and South America and remains so. There are still MSX
enthusiasts all over the planet.
Many (including me) consider MSX to be "The Bugatti" of the computer
industry.

MSX probably not, but MSX2 for sure, except the Sprinter 2000 which has
320x256 with 256 Colours out of 16.7 Millions, but that is an exception.
MSX2 has excellent graphics. I created a PC to Retro graphics conversion
tool called Retro-X which can turn PC graphics to multiple formats
including C64, MSX and CPC. You can download a Alpha version from
http://www.worldofspectrum.org in utility section.

It has a excellent BASIC, lightyears ahead of C64, and the graphics is okay.

In former USSR there are much much much more Spectrum clones than MSX,
but still enough fans there. In the South America the situation is
different. I do not know exactly, but I think there are more MSX users
than Spectrum.
