Further notes on Adobe PDF driver problems under OS X

As I reported in a earlier thread, I was having problems with getting a
file requester when generating PDF documents using the Adobe PDF driver
that comes with Acrobat 7.
To the end of exploring the problem, I employed the use of the "Pref
Setter" freeware utility to try to figure out what was happening. (Bit
like a registry on Windoze, only less evil?)
In the domain com.adobe.distiller7.plist I found the following key:

AskForPDFDest
Class: Boolean
Value: true

I can't explain why it isn't asking for the PDF destination - one would
have assumed this key would have dictated the behaviour of the PDF
driver...
Anyone know of any plist domains that might make a difference?
Or have I run across a true Bug (TM)?
