Ah, the good ole daze - er - days, when Macs were Mac and PCs were
trying to be Macs. Windows 93 had finally made it to the world as Win
95, but there were still to many 386's in the field struggling with Win
3.1.1. On the Mac side, the 6100/7100/8100 was ending its shelf life as
the first gen PPC Macs, and 68K emulation was still a struggle for those
who jumped on the early bandwagon.
And the platform warz were in full swing. The word of the day was not
MS Word 5.1 but "What does IBM stand for? I'm Becoming Mac."
Memory was still over $25 per meg, hard drives were just starting to
break the 1 Gig plateau as a matter of commonplace and 4 Gig was the
then state-of-the-art (and very expensive).
Ah, sweet, sweet memories.
