What are you using your PowerBook G4 these days for those who still have
a working one and use it. Just curious.

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering. :)

Well... I used my PowerBook G4 1,67ghz the few times I had to travel
anywhere else than home, but else it was coupled to my network.

I bought a Behringer Firewire FCA-202 (both rec. and playback) and
coupled the PB to my Sansui stereo amplifier for playback the music I
have on my music archive harddiscs.

Later on I coupled the FCA-202 to the Tape-2 connection on the
amplifier, so I also could record from both my MC archive and LP archive
to transfer to the MacPro, so I could spare - especially my LPs, where I
have quite many old original rock'n roll and blues records from the
1950's and 1960's. Some of these LPs are quite valuable nowadays...

I sold the PB G4 because it can't run higher than 10.5.8 and the latest
version of my audio application requires at least 10.6.5 to work. Bought
a cheap MacBook Pro 15,4" instead which I'm waiting to be upgraded, so I
can run ElCapitan on it. It will then be coupled to my - now - Nakamichi
amplifier to be used like the PB G4.

Cheers, Erik Richard
