I just got the single vision lenses inserted. So its reading glasses
for me!! :)
I don't mind them at all and have 4 pair of differing strengths
depending on what I'm doing. For playing music I keep one pair at the
organ, the computer has 2 and my bedroom has one pair. I read in bed,
but on a Nook lit e-ink device.
My biggest problem with the way the UI is on Yosemite is the use of
shades of the same color to dilineate sections like the tabs in Safari.
The shading is just too close and I can't see the breaks. And the
very thinness of lines and font outlines is no joy either.
I've been using Mavericks today and my eyes are not nearly as tired as
they get when I was using Yosemite. For those that don't have these
issues I suppose Yosemite will be fine, even if they don't actually
like it. For me, I not only do not like the look and feel, it is
detrimental to my eyes.

Yeah, headlights give me some issues, enough so that I don't drive at
night much these days. Since I'm mostly a day person anyway that isn't
an issue.
