Other USB peripherals work fine on the TiBook and the System Profiler
knows when the Zio is connected, but when I insert the Smartmedia card,
nothing mounts. On the Dalmation, just inserting the card causes it to
mount right away.
Both machines are running OS X 10.1.5. On the TiBook, I've also got an
iMate (USB to ADB adapter) driver and the driver for my ADB Kensington
Thinking Mouse (4 buttons). I suspect that one of these might be the
cause, but I don't know how to un-install them. The only thing I can
think to do is re-install OS X and then re-try the Zio before adding
any additional software. But I'm hoping there are better alternatives.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Did you install the Zio! driver? If not, go to Microtech's
website and get it.
The Zios don't (normally) work without drivers and, in fact,
they didn't exist for oS X for about a year after OS X came out.

Are you posting responses that are easy for others to follow?

Since the Zio worked fine with no drivers on my Dalmation
starting with 10.1.2 or 10.1.3, I just assumed I didn't
need one.
Thanks again!
