I have a web server that is provided by a vendor of a system in my
office.
It's a linux based server, and lately since I've updated my Safari the
web access to the server seems busted.
Tried FireFox and sometimes it works...

Now here is my issue.. Who's fault is this that it doesn't work? Is
it the vendor of the system or is it Safari.
In my business we have methods for testing the compliance of a product
to a spec.
Is there some way of testing the output of the server to see how
conforment to a html, java script site it is.

TIA.

This is an intranet. How can I point this site to the intranet site?

You cannot. At least not without having big problems with your
company security officer, I hope. (eg. you could save the HTML from
your intranet site in a file and use the
http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_upload option, but if you have a
security officer worth his pay, you should have big troubles then).

On the other hand, you can download the validator inside your intranet
(eg. on your computer), and validate your intranet staying inside your
network.

http://validator.w3.org/docs/devel.html

Now the question is why you didn't find that yourself? Did you even
click on the http://validator.w3.org/ link?
