I have a copy of the Byte "Mac Programmer's Cookbook" and it mentions a
program called "Task-It" for tracking what's going on in the Process
Manager--what tasks are running and how much CPU time they are using. It
looks nice, but I cannot find it. I have checked on eWorld, AOL, and
InfoMac. The book does not give an author or e-mail address.

If you know of a suitable alternative, I'd be interested. What I really
want to see is which processes are being CPU hogs.

Thanks,
Alex

It's on the Macintosh System Software 7.0 CD-ROM that Apple put out in May
1991. I haven't seen it on a CD since and Pete Helme never finished it (it
is still a development release).
